Riaz Suhail has brought to our attention a forgotten chapter from Sindh's history. His recent article on the role of Sindh in the freedom uprising of 1857 on BBC web site:This article cites references by various historians including Dr. Liaq Zardari, who has a doctorate in Sindh's history. In addition to containing several historic photographs about 1857 uprising in Sindh, the article describes several incidents that show gallant participation by Sindh.
